Satellite athletes honoured at Provincial Sports Awards

Western Province athletics (WPA) and Central Gauteng Athletics (CGA) held their Awards ceremonies over the weekend to celebrate all the athletes who have performed both nationally and internationally.

Nolene Conrad was crowned WPA Sports woman of the year. She also received awards for Road running Female athlete of the year and Best performance of the year. Her awards came as no surprise as she had a long list of incredible achievements this year including IAAF Gold Label Status at the World Half Marathon Championships, SA Marathon Champion, Two Oceans Half Marathon champion. 

Rowhaldo Ratz received his colours and Anthony Timoteus walked away with the Male Cross Country athlete of the year after his great performance at SA Cross Country Championships; finishing 3rd in the Mens 4km event. 

At the CGA awards the junior woman were recognised for their outstanding performances. Liza Kellerman was awarded Junior Sports woman of the year, an award she earned by representing SA at the World Junior Championships. Meanwhile young Casey Bosman was one of the nominees for most promising athlete of the year.

It has been a phenomenal year of competitive athletics and we are very proud of all our athletes achievements. Endurocad applauds the contributions of our sponsors, coaches and athletes who worked hard to produce phenomenal performances. We’re looking forward to yet another great year in 2019.
